Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide technical support in the disassembly, repairs and assembly processes for the shop floorLead initiatives (Lean action workouts) to meet Service Center Fulfilment Five (EHS, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Productivity) Goals and ObjectivesCollaborate closely with ops teams and cross-functions to address specific Tooling related and manufacturing processes that need to be improved, collaborating with functions such as Operations, Quality, Repair Vendors, Equipment/Tooling vendors, etc.Provide leadership/mentorship for team to lead shop floor improvement projects to resolutionHelp drive resolution on process-related problems and technical issuesOwn and drive maintenance and P&E budgets for critical shop floor projects, tooling, supplies, and repairsShare best practices across shop floor to drive consistency, ensure our processes are continuously improvingOwn shop floor work instructions and ensure compliance with OEM ManualsDevelop a strong partnership with internal and external teams to build continuous process improvementAs other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Industrial/Aeronautical/Electrical Engineering or two-year degree (Associates or Technical)At least 5+ years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with Gas Turbines engines, preferably aircraft or aero derivativesLean Manufacturing experience driving process improvementsStrong computer skills, and proficiency in AUTOCAD, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDesired Characteristics:
