Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description

Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Lockport, New York, on a full-time basis.

The Role:

This is a Senior Manufacturing Engineering position that will support machine troubleshooting, continuous improvement projects, and problem solving on radiator process back end equipment including but not limited to clinch assembly, oil cooler to tank assembly, and radiator leak testing.

What You’ll Do:​

Lead problem solving initiatives to determine root cause for equipment related issues

Create technical documentation such as job instructions and preventative maintenance tasks

Support the ongoing implementation of processes control plans, PFMEA's, spare part setups, and equipment drawings

Maintain communication with partners outside of the work group including safety, quality, production, and maintenance

Lead continuous improvement projects to provide technical solutions to technical problems

Your Skills & Abilities: 

Bachelor’s degree

5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Problem Solving

Equipment Troubleshooting

Project leading

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge:​

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology

Experience in manufacturing engineering, quality engineering or maintenance

Ability to read equipment drawings

SolidWorks

Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics

Experience working in a union environment

This job may be eligible for relocation benefits

Compensation

The expected base compensation for this role is $94,800.00 - $151,400.00 USD Annual. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
