We are seeking an outstanding Manufacturing Engineer with superb technical and analytical capabilities, and a proven ability to deliver results quickly and effectively. This role involves developing 3D and 2D mechanical designs and related analyses for flight-critical avionics systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, suitable for both prototype and production-level designs.

Basic Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or equivalent1+ year of experience in integrating, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems1+ year of experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools such as SolidWorks or NX/Unigraphics

Preferred Qualifications:

BS in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringRelevant experience from internships or college organizationsTechnical writing experience, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and test plansExperience with various automated manufacturing processes, including assembly and test methods at component, subsystem, and system levelsExperience in handling and tracking systems for continuous material flow to manufacturing linesFamiliarity with QTP/ATP, functional testing, and environmental testing (thermal, acoustic, vibration)Experience supporting both development and production programsFormal training/certification in Operational Excellence Systems (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.) is a plusStrong organizational, analytical, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and leadership skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $69.00/hr.
