We are seeking an outstanding Manufacturing Engineer with superb technical and analytical capabilities, and a proven ability to deliver results quickly and effectively. This role involves developing 3D and 2D mechanical designs and related analyses for flight-critical avionics systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, suitable for both prototype and production-level designs.
Basic Qualifications:
+ 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or equivalent
+ 1+ year of experience in integrating, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems
+ 1+ year of experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools such as SolidWorks or NX/Unigraphics
Preferred Qualifications:
+ BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
+ Relevant experience from internships or college organizations
+ Technical writing experience, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and test plans
+ Experience with various automated manufacturing processes, including assembly and test methods at component, subsystem, and system levels
+ Experience in handling and tracking systems for continuous material flow to manufacturing lines
+ Familiarity with QTP/ATP, functional testing, and environmental testing (thermal, acoustic, vibration)
+ Experience supporting both development and production programs
+ Formal training/certification in Operational Excellence Systems (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.) is a plus
+ Strong organizational, analytical, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent communication and leadership skills
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $69.00/hr.
