Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Manufacturing Data & Analytics Co-Op located in our Libertyville, IL site.

Reporting to Process & Automation Engineering Team, the Intern will support manufacturing data analysis, OEE tracking, dashboard development, and SPC charting across molding and coiling operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like:

Develop Power BI dashboards for OEE, downtime, scrap, and cycle timeWrite SQL queries to extract production dataUse Python for data analysis and automation scriptsCreate and maintain SPC charts (X-bar, R, Cpk analysis)Support coiler data collection integrationAssist with predictive maintenance analytics initiativesAttend team meetings to support project work as needed

Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

Junior/Senior student pursuing Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering majorProficiency in Python for data analysis and automationStrong SQL skills for data extractionExperience with Microsoft Power BI for dashboardsBasic knowledge of statisticsUnderstanding of manufacturing KPIs (OEE, downtime, scrap, cycle time)Exposure to data collection and predictive maintenance conceptsPrevious manufacturing internship experience a plus!

Co-Op Program Requirements:

Ability to work 40 hours/week (in person) during the co-op assignmentCurrently enrolled in 4-year accredited university3.0 GPA

Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois)$16.74 USD - $23.02 USD Hourly
