Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to support our production line in assembling components for ambulances. This role involves using basic hand tools and power tools to assist in the assembly process and requires precise measurement skills.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble components of ambulances on the production line.Utilize basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, and pliers effectively.Operate power tools, including drills, to aid in the assembly of vehicle components.Read and interpret tape measurements accurately during the assembly process.Adhere to high standards of precision and quality in custom work.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of experience assembling components on a manufacturing line.At least 1 year of experience in reading a tape measure.A minimum of 6 months experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, and pliers.A minimum of 6 months experience operating power tools like power drills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience reading blueprints or schematics is a plus.Experience with electrical wiring within a vehicle is advantageous.Experience in electrical troubleshooting is beneficial.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position is set in a manufacturing environment that varies in temperature, being warm in the summer and cool in the winter. There are deadlines to meet to ensure timely delivery of custom vehicles to customers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grove City, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
