Manufacturing Associate- $18/HR
**Job Title: Manufacturing Associate** **Shift- 1st/ 2nd , Payrate-$18/hr, Miramar** Job Description The Production Associate III is responsible for producing standard and custom medical devices in a team environment to meet customer and quality requirements. This role involves following standard work instructions and adhering to company policies. Responsibilities + Follow department work instructions and adhere to customer and industry standards for dental products. + Operate mechanical equipment as needed according to work instructions. + Visually check medical devices and perform operations according to work instructions. + Identify and recommend disposition of defective items for rework or scrap. + Understand the product manufacturing process from initial steps through final inspection. + Complete all required documentation accurately. + Maintain a safe and clean work area. + Participate in cross-training for various manufacturing procedures. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Experience in assembly and manufacturing environments. + Proficiency in production, packaging, assembly, and inspection. + Ability to follow work instructions and operate machinery. + Troubleshooting skills. + Familiarity with SOP and GMP standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in medical device manufacturing is preferred but not required. + Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve problems. + Ability to professionally communicate, coach, train, motivate, and lead/mentor team members. Work Environment Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The position requires working at a workstation with periods of sitting and standing. The manufacturing floor is an open space with strict safety procedures. Employees must adhere to all safety protocols and SOP documents for a regulated environment, including security checks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
