Manufacturing applications and testing systems developer

In the context of a factory for the assembly of electromechanical products, part of multinational group, in SLIMPA SPA we are looking for a Manufacturing application and testing systems developer.

In this role, he/she will be responsible for designing and coding functional programs and applications as well develop functional testing systems for electromechanical subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Translate application use cases into functional applications.

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

• Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

• Collaborate with development and IT teams to manage digital factory environment.

• Responsible for following best practices around testing, defect tracking, test suite maintainability, and quality.

• Create testing solutions that can be reused effectively and efficiently.

• Implement functional testing systems from R&D test specifications.

Skills

• Excellent ability to read electrical and electronic diagrams.

• Good knowledge of testing procedures and technologies.

• Proficient in NI LabView.

• Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of .NET framework ecosystem.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design and architectural patterns.

• Familiarity with RDBMS (MS SQL Server) and SQL language to be able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.

• Familiar with code versioning tools (Git).

• Basic knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and procedures.

• Data analytic and Data visualization

Professional requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in manufacturing processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic or electrical engineering or computer science. • Work as part of manufacturing solution team.

• Strong commitment to support production requirements.

• Ability to communicate in local language.

• English knowledge is an asset.

• Project Management skills.
