Manufacturing Analyst
Job Title: Manufacturing AnalystJob Description

The Manufacturing Analyst will support production and tooling operations in a dynamic, team-based manufacturing environment. The focus will be on cost tracking, earned value management (EVM), reporting, tooling coordination, and providing technical and administrative support. This role involves working cross-functionally with Production, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, and support organizations to ensure tooling orders, materials, schedules, and inventory are effectively managed.

ResponsibilitiesTrack daily costs and administer Earned Value Management (EVM).Prepare and maintain visibility charts and weekly/monthly status reports.Close, document, and manage assembly tooling orders and internal tooling packages.Validate incoming materials against bills of material (BOM).Coordinate tooling schedules with Production, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering.Manage chemical ordering and inventory using internal tracking systems.Perform tool control, accountability, inventory audits, and asset/property management.Provide technical and administrative support including certification compliance, onboarding, travel support, and safety activities.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, Master’s degree with 1+ year, or 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments.Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.Knowledge of manufacturing methods and project management principles.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience supporting aerospace or defense manufacturing programs.Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) environments.Cost account or budget tracking experience.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, data analysis, reporting).Experience working with tooling, asset management, or chemical tracking systems.Work Environment

This role is part of a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing support environment located at our client's facility. It involves working with a cross-functional team supporting the F-35 Assembly Tooling group. The work environment emphasizes collaboration, process discipline, documentation, and compliance. A balanced 9/80 first-shift schedule offers flexibility with every other Friday off. The dress code ranges from business casual to shop-floor appropriate attire, with PPE or safety-compliant attire required in certain areas. No telecommuting or travel is required, and the ability to support alternate shifts may be needed as business needs arise.

This is a Contract position based out of Palmdale, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
