**Job Title: Manufacturing Admin**
**Job Description**
Join a dynamic service and repair company specializing in pumps and rotating equipment as a Manufacturing Admin. You will play a vital role by working in the front office and facilitating all departments. Key duties include processing payables and payments from vendors, issuing invoices, balancing the company's books, data entry, and utilizing QuickBooks for financial tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for processing weekly timecards and payroll, with opportunities to absorb more office tasks over time.
**Responsibilities**
+ Facilitate communication and coordination among all departments.
+ Process payables and payments from vendors.
+ Issue invoices and balance the company's books.
+ Perform data entry and manage financial tasks using QuickBooks.
+ Make payments by check and credit card.
+ Process weekly timecards and payroll.
+ Gradually take on additional tasks within the office environment.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounts payable.
+ Proficiency in QuickBooks (QBO).
+ Strong data entry skills.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office.
+ Understanding of accounts receivable and payable processes.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in accounting and invoice processing.
+ Familiarity with purchase orders and work orders.
+ Background in a manufacturing shop environment.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a medium-sized shop with a front office consisting of two admins and one manager. The general office area houses engineers and sales staff, with about 20 employees. The shop is expanding due to growth and includes manual machinists, mechanics, welders, and warehouse personnel. Employees typically wear steel-toed shoes, jeans, work shirts, and safety glasses. The position is day shift, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
