**Job Title: Manufacturing Associate**
**Job Description**
The Manufacturing Associate will be responsible for trimming excess rubber, checking parts for defects, painting grooves in parts with glue using small brushes, and participating in molding processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Trim off excess rubber from manufactured parts.
+ Inspect parts for any defects to ensure quality standards are met.
+ Apply glue to grooves in parts using small brushes with precision.
+ Engage in molding processes to create rubber seals.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience working with small parts in a manufacturing setting.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools effectively.
+ General labor and production skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ A minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience is preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail is essential.
+ Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
+ Capability to stand or sit for long periods during shifts.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a spacious manufacturing setting with a machine shop, molding, bonding machine presses, and warehouse areas. There are three shifts: 1st shift with 67 people, 2nd shift with 40 people, and 3rd shift with 5 people, offering a safe and clean workspace.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
