Job Description An employer is seeking a Manual Tester for a large financial client sitting in Charlotte, NC or Chicago, IL. This person will be supporting the CashPro Connect application and should have a strong understanding of EDI file formats such as X12, XML, NACHA, IDOC, and EDIFACT, in addition to familiarity with Payment flows & corporate banking (ACH, Wires, Checks, International). Key Responsibilities include: Develop and execute manual test cases for payment systems including US ACH, wires (domestic and international), and cheques. Validate data formats, mappings, and business rules for EDI file types such as X12 820, SAP IDOC, EDIFACT, and XML PAIN. Perform end-to-end testing of payment workflows, ensuring accurate translation and integration between systems. Log, track, and resolve defects using Jira and Octane. Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to improve coverage and test effectiveness. Review specifications and support test design aligned to compliance, accuracy, and performance standards.
