JSG is seeking a General Machinist for an onsite, contract to hire position for a client in Diamond Bar, CA. Work hrs. - 6am - 2:30pm

Our client is looking for a General Machinist who can run conventional and manual machines.  Must know how to edit programs.  Work to dimensions and tolerances provided by blueprints.  Set up and operate conventional machines.  Able to read blueprints.  Good knowledge of math.  Able to read tape measure. 
  Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required One year of machine shop experience required Completion of a technical trade school, or the equivalent of education and experience, or trade certification for general Machinist is preference Ability to complete a technical trade school apprentice program within four years is required Ability to use measuring devices to verify that work meets blueprint specifications Basic shop math skills including knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and their application is required Able to edit programs Able to write short programs Ability to communicate clearly Personal Qualities Perform work independently and as part of a team Must be organized, reliable, punctual, adaptable and flexible Demonstrate a positive professional demeanor and dress Adhere to all company policies Pay rate: $22 hr.
