Seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to operate lathes, mills, drills, and grinders while interpreting technical data to ensure precision machining.

Job Requirements:

Ability to set up and operate manual machines including lathes, mills, drills, grinders, and hand tools

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, process sheets, and work instructions

Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, and thread gauges

Working knowledge of machine shop math and general machining principles

Familiarity with a wide range of machine shop equipment

Willingness to work extended hours and rotating day/night shifts during peak seasons

Preferred Skills:

Experience maintaining tolerances and achieving accurate dimensions using precision instruments

Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with common machining methods

Understanding of go/no-go gauges and related inspection tools

Job Responsibilities:

Set up machines according to tooling and process requirements

Operate manual equipment to produce parts to specification

Inspect machined components using precision measurement equipment

Maintain a clean and organized work area daily

Follow all safety protocols and report unsafe conditions

Support team efforts and departmental goals through effective communication and cooperation

Pay Details: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour
