Summary: Seeking a Manual Machinist to operate manually controlled machines for fabrication, maintenance, repair, and alteration of machinery and machine parts.

Requirements:

Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information. Determine raw materials needed with supervisor. Plan sequence of necessary actions for job completion. Perform welding responsibilities prior to machining parts.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with precision tools and equipment such as lathe, calipers, vertical milling machine.

Responsibilities:

Produce or repair precision parts using manual and automated equipment. Measure and test completed units to ensure specifications are met. Fabricate and shape parts out of various materials using precision tools. Install repaired or new equipment parts. Clean and lubricate machines to remove debris. Dismantle machines to examine and replace defective parts.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
