As Managing Veterinarian you’ll provide medical leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction for our multi-doctor small-animal practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned clinician ready to make a meaningful impact while still enjoying hands-on medicine.

The Role: 
Medical LeadershipOversee medical and surgical cases to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomesEstablish and maintain medical protocols and standards of careSupport continuity of care between doctorsProvide guidance on diagnostics, treatment plans, and client communicationEnsure the hospital remains inspection-ready at all timesMentorship & Team DevelopmentMentor and support associate veterinariansAssist with recruiting, interviewing, and performance developmentPartner with hospital leadership on training, CE tracking, and licensureFoster a collaborative, team-first environmentPractice Growth & OperationsSupport efficient workflows and operational improvementsEncourage patient visits, wellness plan utilization, and client complianceParticipate in community involvement and hospital initiativesSupport externship opportunities

The Ideal CandidateDVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary schoolActive Arizona license (or ability to obtain)5+ years of clinical experiencePrior leadership or management experience preferredPassion for mentorship and team developmentStrong communication, decision-making, and organizational skillsCommitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine
