Managing Director, Strategy and Partnerships – Amazon Ads, Amazon Ads
The advertising industry is being rewritten by AI by transforming how audiences are understood, how creative is made, how media is bought, and how performance is measured. Amazon Ads sits at the center of this transformation with the systems, infrastructure, and reach to power AI-driven advertising at scale. We're looking for a Director of Strategy & Partnerships to extend that advantage across the UK and Europe.

This isn't a role for someone who manages relationships. It's a role for someone who builds the ecosystem — forging transformative alliances with AI companies, publishers, platforms, agencies, and technology providers that define how intelligent advertising works across the region.



Key job responsibilities
You'll define and lead Amazon Ads' regional partnership strategy across the UK and key European markets, with AI, CTV and Enterprise partnerships as a core organizing principles. From foundation model providers and AI-native ad tech companies to media owners, enterprise platforms, and agency groups, you'll architect the alliances that give Amazon Ads durable competitive advantage in one of the world's most complex and rapidly evolving advertising ecosystems.

You'll identify new partnership surface area — in creative automation, audience intelligence, bidding and optimization, measurement, and agentic media buying — and build the commercial and technical frameworks to capture it.

Structure and negotiate high-impact commercial partnerships that unlock new revenue streams, expand platform reach, and establish Amazon Ads as the preferred Ads partner for advertisers across Europe. You'll own the commercial frameworks that make complex deals work inside UK and EU regulatory environments.

You'll prioritize partnerships that extend Amazon's AI capabilities: integrations with AI model providers, joint solutions with data and identity platforms, and co-built offerings with technology partners that make Amazon Ads smarter, faster, and more valuable for buyers and sellers.

You'll work at the center of the business, partnering with product, legal, engineering, sales, and marketing to bring partner offerings to life. You'll align global priorities with regional market realities, shape how Amazon's AI capabilities are positioned and packaged with strategic partners, and represent partnership strategy at the executive level

You'll show up as a visible thought leader at the industry events, roundtables, and AI-focused forums that shape where the industry is heading — and make sure Amazon Ads is part of that conversation
