Managing Consultant SAP Communications & Engagement Lead

The Managing SAP Communications & Engagement Lead will guide the communication strategy and engagement activities that support successful adoption of SAP transformation initiatives. This role ensures that stakeholders across the organization clearly understand the purpose, progress, and impact of SAP changes. The Lead will work closely with executives, project teams, and business partners to craft messaging, build awareness, and foster alignment across all impacted groups. This position requires a strategic communicator who can translate complex program information into clear, compelling messages and deliver them through effective channels. **Your role and responsibilities** The Managing SAP Communications & Engagement Lead will oversee the development and execution of comprehensive communication and engagement plans that support key milestones throughout the SAP program lifecycle. Responsibilities include creating communication materials, managing communication channels, coordinating leadership messaging, and developing engagement initiatives that build stakeholder awareness and readiness. The Lead will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand impacts, ensure consistent messaging, and deliver targeted communications for specific groups. Additional responsibilities include managing communication calendars, conducting feedback assessments, supporting change‑related events, and advising executives on communication strategies that drive transparency and engagement. This job can be performed from anywhere in the US. **Required technical and professional expertise** • Significant experience leading communications for large‑scale transformation or SAP programs • Strong ability to translate complex technical and business information into clear, actionable messaging • Experience developing and delivering communication and engagement strategies across diverse stakeholder groups • Proficiency in creating communication materials such as executive briefings, newsletters, presentations, and FAQs • Ability to manage communication channels and coordinate messaging across multiple workstreams • Strong stakeholder‑management skills with experience partnering with senior leaders • Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and facilitation skills • Familiarity with Organizational Change Management principles and program governance structures IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
