Job Description

Tradewin is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead our TradeDesk operations focused on dedicated key account operations as well as one of the HTS Classification verticals. This role is responsible for overseeing a team of 15–20 operational employees focused on:

HTS ClassificationShipment ManagementDocument GenerationPartner Government Agency (PGA) Requirements

The Managing Consultant will report directly to the Senior Manager of TradeDesk and play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily operations of the TradeDesk team.Ensure accurate and timely execution of HTS classification and shipment document creation.Oversee compliance with PGA requirements and other regulatory obligations.Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.Manage customer escalations and relationships to enhance customer partnerships.Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance management for team members.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to resolve issues and deliver solutions.Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in HTS Classification, trade compliance, customs operations, or international logistics.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and organizational abilities.Knowledge of PGA regulatory frameworks and documentation standards.Experience managing operational teams in a consulting or logistics environment.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Customs Brokerage LicenseFamiliarity with Expeditors systems and processes.
