How will you make an impact?

As the Manager (m/f/d) of our Warehouse in Rheinfelden, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. You will coordinate employees and resources to ensure goods are received, stored, and delivered efficiently and on time. You will work closely with collaborators across our matrix organization to drive growth, improve quality, and enhance customer experience.

What will you do?          

Lead a team of up to 40 employees in various departments, supported by Team Leaders and Supervisors.Ensure timely receipt of materials in the system, targeting a 3-day turnaround.Support pick & pack execution by providing timely shipping solutions to meet dispatch timelines.Ensure all planned production steps commence as scheduled by coordinating equipment, materials, and documentation.Maintain accurate inventory and stock checks to facilitate efficient picking activities.Communicate basic operational requirements with relevant departments.Organize tasks and adapt prioritization to respond to critical and urgent situations.Ensure compliance with occupational safety, quality performance, and cost management.Participate in supervisory and customer reviews/audits.Continuously review and improve existing processes.Analyze problems and define solutions using an operational excellence approach.Lead or participate in projects to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and drive efficiency.Decision Making and Financial Authority:Prepare and coordinate cost-relevant measures affecting the budget with the managing director.Authorize invoice releases up to €20,000.Prepare personnel measures affecting the Works Constitution Act in coordination with the HR Manager.Hold signature authorization "by order."

 How will you get here?

Completed vocational training in logistics, further training as an artisan, or similar.Profound professional experience in a relevant role, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.Leadership roles in operations, commercial, or quality management.Broad knowledge of global organizational processes and financial business methods.GMP/Pharma industry experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Strong social skills to connect with and influence leadership and individuals.Full knowledge of GMP and GDP environments.Experience in productivity management and project coordination.Ability to prioritize and distribute team workloads.Passion for driving improvement and leading change in a global environment.Proven track record in developing, training, and coaching teams.Excellent communication skills in English and German.Broad knowledge of multi-functional processes and financial business methods.High ethical standards supporting a professional business code of conduct.Bachelor’s degree in operations or business or equivalent experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; SAP warehouse module knowledge is advantageous.Reliability, flexibility, and resilience as well as ability to work in a full matrix environment.Strong communication skills at all hierarchical levels and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
