RN Manager - Trauma Services, Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital, Spokane WA

The Manager-Trauma Services is responsible for the overall management of the Trauma Program and associated data registry team for the hospitals in the Inland Northwest (INWA) service area.  Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer and collaborating with the Trauma Medical Director, this position ensures that all requirements for service area Trauma Centers verification and designation are attained and maintained in collaboration with all appropriate departments and divisions.  Accountable for identification of all trauma patients entering the service area's Medical Centers, and hospitals including the Children's Hospital.  The Manager works on the development, implementation and evaluation of systems and programs directed toward the provision of quality of services for trauma patients from a multidisciplinary perspective throughout the continuum of care. Displays behaviors that enhance professional performance and reflects the moral commitment, ethical principles, values and philosophy of Providence.  This position will demonstrate skill in communicating clearly, concisely, and factually in various settings utilizing both verbal and written means.

Shift Details:

Full time, 36 hours per week, 8-hour day shiftMonday - Friday 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in NursingMaster's Degree in NursingUpon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License 3 years Trauma/Emergency Unit or Trauma/Critical Care Unit of a level III or higher Trauma Center.3 years Data analysis using the State required trauma data collection software.
