We are seeking a dedicated professional with expertise in the CUSTOMS business process area for the TRANS4RM Rollout in Europe. In this role, you will represent the business functional area and be responsible to support the identification and bridging of gaps between current operational systems and future TRANS4RM operational templates. Your role will be crucial in harmonizing, standardizing, and improving processes during the rollout within your designated business process area. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in conveying best practices, ensuring the acceptance of solutions and driving approval for the market's future state.
The ideal candidate is a Systems and Business Process expert with deep understanding of business processes within the Europe CUSTOMS. You excel at identifying similarities and gaps between the current 'as-is' processes and the envisioned 'to-be' processes, efficiently gathering feedback from relevant experts. This skill set is fundamental for steering effective decision-making and ensuring the successful implementation of TRANS4RM.
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
The TRANS4RM program aims to equip adidas with a future-ready enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with built-in intelligent technologies, including data driven AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics. With the TRANS4RM Business Transformation we are creating the digital foundation from which we will deliver a premium customer and consumer experience across all channels (Wholesale, Retail, eCom). This role will be part of the 24-36-month transformation program and support implementation of the new ERP system, SAP S/4 HANA for Market Europe (3 clusters – 8 zones – 29 countries) within the respective workstream area.
Key Responsibilities and General Accountabilities:
Ownership of Business Processes
Assume responsibility for representing CUSTOMS across Market Europe, bring current process expertise and analyzing gaps in future processes. Ensure alignment with CUSTOMS operational and Global CUSTOMS teams. Support decision making of the TRANS4RM template (future template approval).Alignment with Business Objectives
Ensure that business objectives and critical needs are fully supported and harmonized with the future operational set up.Overall project support
Support the workstream lead to set function/workstream objectives, develop detailed work breakdown structures with concrete activities, milestones, roles, and responsibilities and defined KPIs. Support business case creation for Global Template Deviation for CUSTOMSInformation Gathering and Gap Analysis:
Collaborate closely with the Business Assessment team to gather comprehensive as-is information, function as process expert and support in collecting and ensuring the right feedback from other team members. Gain an in-depth comprehension of the to-be model, support the identification of market-specific process gaps, operational requirements, and business needs.Feedback and Impact Assessment
Provide feedback on business operations in conjunction with operational teams, and support impact assessments of operations relating to TRANS4RM.Engagement with Local Experts
Engage and consult with local subject matter experts and key users as needed.Harmonization and Standardization
Guide efforts to align, standardize, and enhance processes during the rollout.Market-to-Be Solutions
Drive the sign off on market-to-be solutions, including design and configuration.Transition planning, risk mitigation and temporary process definition
Support to evaluate & identify areas within CUSTOMS that will be impacted in a phased go live. Anticipate potential losses and help develop proactive strategies for mitigation. Collaborate with relevant department to design and implement temporary processes when needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of current Europe business processes in CUSTOMS and gap analysis expertise. Ability to propose decisions for TRANS4RM future template sign-off. Experience in project management, objective definition and KPI development. Proficiency in supporting Business Case creation for respective Workstream. Strong stakeholder management skills Think “out of the box” mentality. Implicit drive for (internal) consumer obsession Result orientation and pro-active (engaging & impact-oriented) mindset, ability to think end-to-end. Ability to work in a challenging environment with different international cultures. Ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines. SAP / WMS knowledge is an advantage.
Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
A degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, logistics, supply chain, information system or operations or equivalent experience in customs business Strong understanding of the CUSTOMS Europe organization. Minimum of 5+ years of work experience in Europe CUSTOMS, with understanding of process management or process improvement. Fluency in English, Written and Spoken
