Manager, Trade Marketing 

(Internal Title: Manager, Trade Activation Planning) 

At PMI, we're transforming our business and shaping a smokefree future. As part of this journey, we're looking for a Manager, Trade Marketing to bring our commercial strategy to life through impactful instore and channel activations. 

What You’ll Do 

Turn trade and commercial strategy into clear activation plans across retail channels. Independently drive end-to-end execution, defining how to deliver, push forward, and close projects with excellence. 

Manage the activation calendar, ensuring all the activations (including but not limited to trade education, trade events, POS materials/asset deployment) land on time, in full, and at expected quality.  

Coordinate with Sales, Key Accounts, Legal, External affairs, Marketing and other cross-functional teams to align requirements, resolve discrepancies, and keep decisions moving forward.Oversee vendors and agencies to deliver high-quality execution. 

Track performance and provide insights to improve future activations. 

Support budget tracking and process improvements. 

What We're Looking For 

Experience in trade marketing, retail activation, sales operations, or key accounts. 

Strong understanding of retail and channel dynamics. 

Proven ability to drive end-to-end project execution, including timeline control, risk management, vendor management, and cross-team alignment. 

Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin. 

Analytical mindset with ability to evaluate initiative effectiveness, generate insights, and recommend actionable improvements. 

Experience in events, trade activations, POSM/asset production, or store-level execution is a strong plus. 

Background in FMCG or regulated industries preferred. 

Comfortable navigating ambiguity with structure, making sound decisions, escalating risks appropriately, and staying agile as priorities evolve.
