In this role, you will leverage your technical management expertise and leadership capabilities to support the Tax Operations Service Executive in establishing the direction of daily activities, ensuring efficient operations, and fostering a productive and engaging working environment for all associates. In this role, you help shape the performance standards and operational excellence of the organization—carrying the responsibility of ADP’s service reputation and client satisfaction in your hands..
You will also drive process automation, leverage data analytics and advanced Excel capabilities, and incorporate AI enabled insights and tools to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance overall accuracy, efficiency, and decision making across the team.
The nature of what you do every day will not change -- your #1 goal is to support your team so they can provide the best service and solution around the client's payroll tax needs. Still, every day will be different because you will need to partner with other groups of ADP and the client in order to do this. There will be no shortage of new questions you'll receive, which will keep things interesting, and our top-ranked training will help to set you up for success!
To thrive in this role, you must be comfortable working as a Leader, Technical consultant and business partner to other groups within ADP. You will lead the daily activities of the team to ensure that all work is completed according to scheduled deadlines. You will train and mentor team members and identify development needs across the team. Over the phone and in writing, your communication style is clear and easy for our clients to understand and take action on. As a result, your client satisfaction scores make you proud. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day:
Provide Team Support. You will empower your team to deliver high‑quality 2nd‑ and 3rd‑tier technical support for front‑line associates handling payroll and tax processing for Amendments and Late Original filings. This includes setting the direction for their daily activities, ensuring operational and technical alignment, and maintaining a productive, positive, and technically robust working environment that enables your team to perform at their highest level. Provide Client Support. You will provide advanced 2nd and 3rd tier support to help our Associates manage Clients using ADP’s solutions. This includes performing deep dive troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical probing to resolve complex payroll and tax related issues. Your support will also involve collaborating closely with multiple business units and technical teams to ensure comprehensive issue resolution and deliver a seamless, high quality client experience. Learn. You will continually upgrade your knowledge and skills on payroll tax, including federal and state compliance, standard operating procedures, administrative practices, other products, and desktop support tools to develop and maintain your ability to support our clients. Organize. You adhere to a daily schedule and organize yourself to deal with various productivity - performance standards to ensure that established levels are achieved, especially during critical activity periods. You will manage escalated issues and provide direction on them.TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements
At least 5 years of related experience At least 3 years of people leadership experienceA college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job.
