As part of our global Tax team and the local Finance Team in Germany, you will work together with your direct reports on national and international tasks, projects and improvements, both strategically and operationally. Define tax risks management strategy for Germany and Austria marketsBe responsible for all the taxes (CIT, VAT, trade tax, Excise, Customs) for PMI in Germany and Austria by directly executing tasks or by governing process executed in other departments.Support our management and organization with providing tax advice on business and investment initiatives.You act as a main contact for authorities leading the audits and day-to day cooperation. Build and maintain relationship with Fiscal Authorities.  

 

You ensure all compliance requirements, designing, reviewing, and implementing the processes impacting Taxes, even if run out of Tax department.You participate in company projects providing your tax opinion, and supporting the team in the implementation and execution phase

 

You participate in international projects supporting Central Tax Teams in data analytics and process definition.

 

 What we are looking for

 

Willingness to learn and develop as tax professional.University degree in Economics, Finance, Taxation, Accounting or related field.Minimum 3 years’ prior experience working in similar position. Experience in a multinational corporation would be an advantage.Completed tax consultant examination (Steuerberater) would be preferable.Expertise in corporate income tax, trade tax, VAT, international tax principles, transfer pricing and tax accounting. Experience in excise tax and customs taxation area would be an advantage.Strong understanding of accounting standards (IFRS, HGB). Independent, responsible, and structured way of workingAbility to communicate tax concepts in a comprehensible wayConfident handling of Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word.Strong analytical thinking and judgment as well as strong focus on resultsStrong communication skills, coupled with teamwork & proactivity.Fluency in business German and English, both written and spoken.
