Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic International Tax and Transfer Pricing Manager to join our Global Tax team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing transfer pricing compliance, planning, and strategic initiatives across our international operations, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. This role blends technical transfer pricing expertise with a strong focus on technology enablement and automation. You will design and manage data-driven models, strengthen global compliance, and help shape Hyatt’s approach to intercompany pricing in an increasingly digital and analytical tax environment. **The Role**
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with business acumen and a technology skillset to ensure our intercompany pricing aligns with both tax regulations and our global value chain. As part of the broader International Tax team, you will partner closely with regional tax, finance, accounting, and business leaders to develop and maintain a robust transfer pricing framework that supports sustainable global growth and leverages automation where possible. While transfer pricing is the central responsibility, the role will also contribute to broader corporate tax initiatives, including international tax compliance, provision, reporting, and advisory support.
Transfer Pricing (Primary Focus)
•Manage the global transfer pricing calculations, supporting schedules, and data provided by Accounting or external advisors, ensuring accuracy and compliance
•Manage the preparation and review of annual transfer pricing documentation, including Master File, Local File, and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR)
•Review benchmarking analyses and comparables prepared by external advisors, validating assumptions and results from a TP perspective
•Oversee transfer pricing forecasts and accounting processes; integrate transfer pricing considerations in global forecasting and strategic planning processes
•Support transfer pricing planning initiatives, including business restructurings, IP migrations, and intercompany financing arrangements
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency of transfer pricing data and reporting across regions.
•Monitor changes in OECD, BEPS, and local transfer pricing regulations and assess potential impacts on the company
•Champion process improvements across transfer pricing workflows through technology, standardization, and automation
Broader Global Tax Support
•Support U.S. and international tax compliance, including Pillar 2 (GloBE) computations and reporting requirements
•Assist with tax provision, reporting, and forecasting processes, ensuring transfer pricing outcomes align with financial reporting goals
•Supporting foreign tax credit process from a transfer pricing perspective
•Support other tax projects and initiatives as needed to meet evolving business priorities
Analytics, Tools & Process Optimization
•Lead the design and enhancement of transfer pricing models leveraging advanced tools such as Alteryx; develop models to simulate tax outcomes and assess risk scenarios
•Automate recurring calculations and integrate data from systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and audit readiness
•Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and Systems teams to enhance tax and transfer pricing data processes and tools to improve data governance and enable seamless analytical reporting
•Drive continuous enhancements to data quality and reporting timeliness using digital platforms and analytical tools; recommend process improvements and implement controls to improve efficiency and compliance across tax operations
•Serve as a bridge between Transfer Pricing and Technology — translating analytical insights into strategic business outcomes
**Qualifications:**
**Qualifications**
•Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPA/JD a plus
•5–8 years of transfer pricing or international tax experience, preferably within a multinational enterprise or Big 4/public accounting environment
•Solid understanding of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, BEPS initiatives, and U.S. and foreign TP regulations
•Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-tax stakeholders
•Demonstrated ability to manage multiple global projects and work cross-functionally in a matrixed organization
•Advanced technology and modeling skills, with hands-on experience in data analytics tools; proficiency with transfer pricing databases and financial modeling tools (e.g., Co-pilot, ChatGPT, Alteryx, etc.) preferred
•Experience implementing or supporting digital transformation in tax or finance function

_The salary range for this position is $117,000 to $125,000. This position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate._
