Cleveland Clinic is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead high-performing team of nursing recruiters. This leader plays a vital role in driving our mission to care for life, research for health and educate those who serve - with a focus on attracting, engaging and hiring top healthcare talent.
What you'll do:
+ Lead with purpose -- coach and support a team of recruiters through daily huddles, 1-on-1s, and regular performance check-ins. Set clear expectations, celebrate wins and intervene when challenges arise.
+ Drive results and accountability -- Monitor daily dashboards, SLAs and productivity metrics to ensure your team is meeting or exceeding performance goals. Use data to guide decisions, remove barriers and accelerate outcomes.
+ Champion operational excellence -- Standardize and reinforce key workflows, including requisition intake, candidate pre-closing, interview logistics and system utilization (Workday, CRM). Ensure compliance and consistency across all touchpoints.
+ Strengthen partnerships -- Serve as the go-to collaborator for TA Partners, HR partners and other stakeholders. Lead proactive planning discussions and resolve escalations with care and urgency.
+ Advance continuous improvement -- Identify gaps, coach through breakdowns and apply Lean principles to strengthen TA processes. Promote a culture of feedback, learning and daily improvement.
+ Align to strategy -- Translate enterprise hiring priorities into clear recruiter goals. Track pipeline health, hiring trends and risk areas, and collaborate with workforce planning to forecast demand.
+ Communicate and inspire -- Keep your team informed, aligned, and connected. Facilitate huddles, participate in leadership meetings and elevate insights to influence system-wide talent strategies.
What we're looking for:
+ A people-first leader with experience managing recruiters or healthcare hiring teams
+ Strong operational acumen, with a proven ability to interpret data, meet targets and streamline processes
+ Comfort with ambiguity, change and fast-paced environments
+ A collaborative mindset and passion for delivering exceptional caregiver and candidate experiences
+ Familiarity with Lean, CRM systems, Workday, or healthcare hiring is a plus
**A caregiver in this role works Monday-Friday on-site at our Cleveland Clinic Administrative Campus, with minimal travel required.**
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Manage Talent Acquisition staff, ensure consistent application of policies, equitable salary administration, compliance with all government regulations and JCAHO standards and adherence to Cleveland Clinic affirmative action program.
+ Manage and act as a resource to recruiters and team members and provide leadership, guidance and mentoring to their team. Work in collaboration with Director regarding budget review, marketing plan review, personnel management and monitoring productivity and staff development.
+ Develop and maintain an intimate understanding of ongoing patient care needs to anticipate recruiting requirements resulting in a strategic plan and approach to recruitment along with various leadership individuals. Serve as representative of the department at divisional, hospital and enterprise-wide committees.
+ Collaborate with Talent Acquisition across the enterprise by facilitating teamwork, problem-solving and project management.
+ Identify, attend and coordinate participation at college, university and off-site job fairs.
+ Represent Cleveland Clinic through speaking engagements at schools, organizations and job fairs.
+ Identify new opportunities for collaboration within Institutes and across the enterprise.
+ Develop, implement and monitor systems necessary to integrate and align recruitment practices within the enterprise.
+ Promote ongoing professional development of self and other team members.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Bachelor's degree in business, HR or related field
+ Five years of previous human resources or management experience in a department with high-volume hiring, with a minimum of two years recruitment experience
+ Effective oral and written communication skills, analytical and project management skills
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Proven experience leading a high-performing nurse recruitment team within a large, complex healthcare organization, driving strategic talent acquisition initiatives to meet critical workforce needs.
+ Experience with Workday
+ Healthcare recruiting experience

**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
+ Ability to travel throughout the hospital system. For some roles, ability to travel to other locations, including international travel.
+ Ability to operate a computer, audio visual and other office equipment.
+ Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information, including the ability to deliver any applicable training in person and virtually.
+ In some locations, ability to move up to 25 lbs.
**Personal Protective Equipment:**
+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $40.48
Maximum hourly: $61.74
