An exciting opportunity is available for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team supporting a high-volume production facility in Decatur, IL. This position will serve as a working supervisor for a team of 2-4 Recruiters and will play a critical role in driving talent acquisition strategies, community outreach, and workforce development initiatives.

This highly visible role will be embedded in the facility and actively engaged with the local community, representing the company in outreach efforts including Career Pathways and other workforce development programs.

What You Will Do

Lead and manage a team of Recruiters focused on high-volume hiring for production operations.Partner with facility leadership to understand current and future workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies to meet those needs.  Collaborate with Facility Managers, HR leaders, etc.Oversee recruitment programs and implement process improvements to enhance sourcing, selection, and candidate experience.Build and maintain relationships with local schools, workforce development organizations, and community partners to support outreach and pipeline development.Represent the company at job fairs, hiring events, and community forums.Develop and execute Career Pathways initiatives to support long-term talent development and retention.Monitor and analyze recruiting metrics and workforce data to inform decision-making and improve outcomes.Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to hiring and employment practices.

What Skills You Will Have:

Leadership

Experience leading recruiting teams and developing individual contributors.Ability to motivate and coach team members to achieve performance goals.Ability to engage direct reports in utilization of new software.

Staffing and Recruiting

Knowledge of sourcing strategies, selection techniques, and applicant tracking systems.Experience managing high-volume recruiting programs.

Recruitment Channel Management

Ability to evaluate and optimize recruitment channels including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and community partnerships.

Community Engagement

Experience building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders including schools, workforce boards, and nonprofit organizations.

Process Management

Ability to document, monitor, and improve recruiting workflows and processes.

Workforce Analytics

Experience using data to evaluate recruiting effectiveness and support workforce planning.

Influencing and Communication

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across levels and functions.

Top Candidates will also have:

Experience in talent acquisition, preferably with experience in a leadership or supervisory role.Experience in high-volume recruiting environments preferred.Familiarity with community outreach and workforce development programs is a plus.

Additional Information:

This position is based full-time in Decatur, IL.Must be able to work onsite Monday to Friday.Relocation assistance may be available.This position may require limited travel. (5%-10%).Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Summary Pay Range:

$95,640.00 - $143,520.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
