Job DescriptionSustainability accounting and reporting are crucial elements of the governance of the company. The role shaping the dynamic field of sustainability reporting which is developing at a high speed following evolving regulations like CSRD, ESRS and EU Taxonomy.
Define and implement frameworks for sustainability accountingElaborate and manage key processes for sustainability disclosures & metricsDocumentation of sustainability accounting and data collectionsConsolidation of quantitative sustainability disclosures & metricsEnsure conformity of quantitative sustainability disclosures & metrics with reporting requirements Coordination of diverse functions responsible for respective quantitative sustainability disclosures & metricsContribute to the annual sustainability reportDefinition and execution of controls (e.g. plausibility checks)Manage sustainability assurance process related to quantitative sustainability disclosures & metricsMaintain the network for sustainability accountingQualificationsAn academic degree in the field of Business, Law or a related areaSeveral years of experience in Sustainability Reporting & Accounting regulations and standards (CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, HGB, ...)Proficient skills in data management and data toolsExperience with external assurance processesExperience in matrix roles, project and stakeholder managementGerman and English language skillsWorking style combining a focus on details as well as keeping a highly structured overviewIntrinsic motivation to navigate in highly complex processes and requirementsApplications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
