About the role:

The Industry Architect – SAP S/4HANA will play a strategic leadership role in driving end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation and implementation programs with a strong focus on industry-specific processes. The role requires deep expertise in Record to Report (R2R) and SAP FICO, combined with management consulting experience to lead complex international engagements. The architect will guide solution design, process harmonization, and delivery while managing large, cross-functional teams of SMEs and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP S/4HANA Transformation & Architecture

Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation and implementation programs, from assessment and roadmap definition to go-live and post-implementation support Design and govern industry-specific target operating models aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices Define solution architecture for R2R / SAP FICO, ensuring scalability, compliance, and integration across enterprise systems

Financial Process & R2R Leadership

Own and lead Record to Report (R2R) processes including: General Ledger Asset Accounting Cost Center & Profit Center Accounting Financial Closing & Reporting Group Reporting and Consolidation Ensure compliance with local statutory, IFRS, and global accounting standards Enable real-time financial insights using S/4HANA Universal Journal

 

Consulting & Stakeholder Management

Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (CFO, Finance Directors, CIOs) Translate business objectives into SAP-enabled transformation strategies Lead executive workshops, design sessions, and steering committee meetings Support pre-sales activities, including solutioning, estimations, and proposal development

 

International Project Delivery

Drive global and multi-country SAP implementations across different geographies Manage complexities related to localization, tax, regulatory, and compliance requirements Work with offshore and onshore teams across multiple time zones

Required Skills & Qualifications

Functional & Technical Expertise

12+ years of overall experience in SAP implementations and transformation programs Strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) Graduated from Tier-1 or Tier-2 institutions (preferably with MBA from Tier-1/Tier-2 B-schools)
