Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

The adidas JD platform plays a key strategic role in accelerating our digital eCommerce strategy in China. Winning on each of the platform touchpoints through JD Pop and JD direct stores while delivering a JD preferred end-to-end consumer experience will be key to success for the whole team.

The candidate is expected to drive constant monitoring & analysis of product performance with consideration comprehensive operation KPI & sales KPI to lead discussion & actions to push sales thru site display, paid media, mechanism design & pricing and stock optimization, the candidate should monitor the JD TA consumers preference & price sensitivity and optimize the buying strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Support store leaders, manage and lead the external TP team in overall merchandise planning, product prioritization, data integration, sales analysis in achieving sales targets. Differentiate JD pop and JD direct assortments, tailor product display plans and selection strategies for each stores according to their positioning & TA. As the product contact window for JD team, providing insights & feedback for allocation, replenishment, reorder, pricing to digital buying & trading team. Assist store manager in monitoring key product metrics, including GMV, MD, ASP, and ST, UV, coupon impact during daily operations, and provide recommendations for optimization based on product strategy. Based on the focus of new products and campaigns, arrange product displays at key homepage touchpoints and organize product categories on the PLP, to enhance conversion rate. Establish a product plan for stores for Mega Event & IP event (燃动), collaborate with store managers to define product structure, and participate in decision-making regarding promotional mechanisms and CPS. Adjust key product highlights based on daily sales to support business achievement. Oversee product-related data and report automation with the internal business planning team & external TP team and enhance the efficiency and utilization of data. Work with platform and hub to enhance the data capability. Work with Ops to drive better product category publishing, title SEO and manage TP to execute the constant optimization. Support the Marketing team in enhancing media efficiency and provide recommendations for product selection, give insights to MKT/studio A team for video/products shooting & PDP/PEP designs. Work with UIUX team for store navigation/homepage modules display logistic and rules set up. Monitor internal and platform category and product trend, maximize constant potential business opportunity by season, by event.

Overall commercial sales target for JD Sell Thru, MD, CVR, UV, GMV, NS Traffic mix & sales mix efficiency among all store product

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Solid working experience with Merchandising or Product Management Good knowledge of all ecommerce channels/online marketing Strong analytical skills and fact based orientation in decision making Experienced in working cross-functional within international organization Team management & strong collaboration with cross function team

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

Minimum 5+ year experience in merchandising & in-season trading; preferably with a background in sporting industry & Retail eCommerce JD background is a plus A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, or related field. Fluent Business English
