Your ‘day to day’

 

In this role with Philip Morris Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., you will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our brand portfolio, ensuring relevance to our target consumers and driving competitive advantage. You will work in a dynamic, diverse, and collaborative environment that encourages new ideas and empowers you to make a real impact.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Brand Portfolio Strategy: Develop and maintain a brand portfolio that meets the evolving needs of target consumers while ensuring differentiation for competitive advantage. Proactively identify opportunities to introduce new offers and concepts with strong growth potential, addressing unmet or latent consumer preferences.

 

Brand Building Collaboration: Work closely with the Brand Building team to create comprehensive and strategic brand plans. Focus on building brand wealth and maintaining equity, particularly in a restricted market environment. Drive target consumers through the brand adoption model, fostering strong preference for PMI brands.

 

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Regional Headquarters and the Global Brand Building team, to align on a clear portfolio strategy. Ensure consistent and timely delivery of PMI products and global brand initiatives. Serve as the conduit for sharing and leveraging best practices between PM Malaysia and PMI.

 

Holistic Brand Marketing: Design and implement integrated marketing plans across both online and offline channels. Align activities with overall business objectives, establish clear guidelines and budgets, and ensure consistent messaging and creative execution. Monitor and measure outcomes for continuous improvement.

 

Trade Support & Innovation: Plan and develop innovative tools and platforms that foster brand engagement and conversations, recognizing the challenges of a highly regulated market. These efforts should enhance PM Malaysia’s brand awareness and provide robust support for trade partners.

 

Who we’re looking for

Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or similarMin. 7 years proven experience in Brand Building, Category Management; Portfolio Management; Concept Development  Solid commercial acumen & market & consumer awareness  Independent campaign management experience Budget management ∙ Worked in consumer centric industry- FMCG, hi-tech etc. Analytics bent of mind and data driven decision making Multichannel experience with Direct Retail, digital, indirect etc.  Influencing & Collaboration skills
