We’re looking for an experienced Seoul based Service Operations Manager, responsible for coordinating all activities, delivering positive operational performance results, and leading & coordinating the operations teams, primarily made up of technicians. The role has direct responsibility for Customer service delivery and the coordination and facilitation of core operations activities in the service centers. This individual will lead and manage technicians and coordinate the preparation and repair of Aggreko equipment.

What you’ll do:

Safety

Local HSE Representative - drives safety performance & accountability.Ensures that facilities & work areas are safe, clean & fully operational.Conducts daily toolbox & Safety meetings.

People Management

Responsibility for Service execution delivery to customer service levels.Accountable for technician supervision & deployment through scheduling.Enforces standards, executes objectives & holds team accountable.Ensures optimal team performance and capability by providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, development and corrective action.Manages all aspects of their team along with the Regional Ops Leader.Maintains staffing to shop & field technician deployment guidelines.

Fleet Management

Ensures maintenance, availability & reliability of fleet for deployment.Ensures accuracy of Fleet Readiness, Utilization, and inventory.Accountable for the appropriate & timely deployment of fleet and staff.Executes National Logistics & other areas Equipment Transfer requests & ensure equipment is ‘green carded’ & functional at time of deployment.Manages Fleet repairs & improvements related to fleet quality & reliability.Accountable for completion of PM servicing & oil sampling.Accountable for Parts supply and core returns, as well as service material costs by budget or KPI.

Cost Management

Drives business standards & cost controls to ensure profitability.Technician overtime vs. forecasts / budgets.Subcontractor & temp labor spends vs. forecast / budget.Test & turn spend & Inventory variances.Technician travel spend.Credit & standdown detailed review as well as change order review.Monthly review and ownership of the above controllable costs.

Facility Management

Responsible for ensuring compliance with GSCS standards.Requisitions and reports receipt of supplies, parts, and fleet.Executes customer contracts & delivers service to Aggreko Standards.Champions & ensures effective adherence to policies & procedures.Executes tasks per the monthly operations calendar.

Key Performance Indicator

HSE – maintain GSCS standards & All HSE KPIs related to QHSE dashboards, trainings, MER etc.Fleet Management – Continually improve the quality of the fleet to ensure maximum availability & utilization.Global Operational Directives KPI.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

At least 10 years’ experience previously in rental business & at supervisory level.Higher Education qualification in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent qualifications with extensive knowledge and experience in mechanical or electrical field or both.Experiences in managing technicians.Comfortable in facing client with the ability to communicate effectively when required, empathize & understand the perspective of others.Capable of working on his/her own initiatives & able to work long hours in demanding condition.Strong interpersonal skills.Customer-oriented mindset.Be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize the activities through effective planning and organizing.
