Reporting to the Service Director India & South Asia, the Manager Spares and Service Contracts Sales is responsible lead and grow recurring revenue streams through service contracts, spares, and service solutions for Hach products across India. This role will oversee installed base management, contract renewals, new acquisitions, and strategic collaboration with Service, Sales, and Operations teams to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.

This position is part of the India Commercial Organization located in Bangalore and will be Hybrid.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Lead service contract (AMC/CMC) strategy, bookings, renewals, and spares sales across assigned regions.Develop and execute service revenue growth plans by analyzing customer installed base (IB) and identifying coverage gaps.Drive conversion of break-fix customers into long-term contract customers.Oversee quotation preparation, pricing alignment, and approval processes.Collaborate with field service engineers and operations teams to ensure contract execution readiness.Monitor service sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, and performance metrics using CRM tools (SFDC / ServiceMax).Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal customers, consultants, EPCs, and channel partners.Support joint Sales + Service initiatives, obsolete IB replacement programs, and collection adherence.Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual service revenue targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.Provide leadership, guidance, and training to the service contract sales team to enhance capability and performance.

The essential requirements of the job include:  

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Chemical).10 - 12 years of experience with proven service revenue growth responsibility.Prior exposure to Hach or similar water quality instrumentation preferredWillingness to relocate across India basis job / company prioritiesWillingness to travelGood written and verbal communication skillsTeamwork and ability to work across cultures, locations, and business teamsExpertise in MS office. Exposure to Copilot AI tools would be added advantageProactive and action-oriented with an eye for detailSelf-motivated with a passion for driving business growth in a rapidly evolving marketProblem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to meet customer needsExcellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and maintain customer relationships
