Manager Security
Reporting to the Director of Security Services, the Security Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the daily operations and personnel of the Security Services team. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective performance, training, and coordination of security officers—potentially across multiple locations—while upholding the highest standards of safety and protection for staff, patients, visitors, and property. The Security Manager supports the Director in managing departmental operations, implementing security protocols, and driving continuous improvement in safety practices. With a strong focus on team leadership, operational oversight, and situational response, this role is essential to maintaining a secure and well-coordinated environment throughout the organization.   Salary Range: $83,116.80 - $122,595.20

 

Qualifications:

 

Education:

Requires a high school diploma or GED. Prefer an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or Communication.

Experience:

Requires a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a field related to law enforcement, or security (healthcare setting preferred).

Specialized Training:

Must successfully complete and pass firearms training within six months of employment.

Certification/Licensure:

Must have a valid Arizona driver's license and be in good standing (no criminal record).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Must have a working knowledge of Arizona state laws/city ordinances, public relations and investigative techniques. Requires skill to exercise tact, understanding, self-restraint, judgment, and confidentiality in dealing with people. Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
