Job Summary: Plans, directs, and monitors the activities of a sales team at a single location/branch to achieve established sales targets.
Supports sales representatives and account colleagues in the management of client relationships and in the negotiation of contracts with key customers. Increases market share through utilization of effective sales management process. Prevents and resolves any sales channel conflicts. Establishes market place strategy.
Responsibilities: This role plays a vital role in leading the sales team to achieve strategic goals related to revenue generation, profit attainment, and growth goals. Builds sales capability of the overall local sales team. Ensures the operation is according to company mission & vision by monitoring the application of operating standard procedure.
Qualifications: Manages the day-to-day activities of a sales force in order to implement the organization's overall sales strategy for an assigned area. Typically does not have budget or P&L accountability.
Key Competencies: Coordinate with marketing and other internal resources as necessary to resolve problems involving pricing, product specifications, and warranties. Interfaces with external vendors on the management of promotional programs through the channel.
