Manager Safety, EHS & Site Facilities

ROLE SUMMARY

Responsible for the overall operational management of the Pfizer Zaventem Site, ensuring its smooth day-to-day functioning.

Accountable for the vendor life cycle management process related to the Pfizer Zaventem Site.

Additionally, the Safety, EHS & Site Facilities Manager will assume specific roles, including Site Information Security Officer, Coordinator of the Crisis Management Plan(s), Legal Prevention Advisor for the Safety Committee, and supporting EHS at the Zaventem Site.

EHS:

Coordinates the development and implementation of all EHS policies and required SOPs, including relevant training deployment / refresher training as required.Follows up so all relevant metrics are reported as per Corporate PGS EHS requirements.Coordinate and support all EHS audits, PGS and corporate audits, findings and CAPA plans as required.Ensure all permits and legal controls, as per legal requirements, are kep up to date and seek approval with authorities for changes when required.Legal and Site Prevention advisor for the Safety Committee, ensuring training in place for First AID / Intervention teams as required and at the sites in Zaventem.Responsible for mobility plan for Site employees.Active participation in Global, EMEA and BE security and network teams ensuring adherence to corporate EHS objective.

  Security:

Ensures policies and procedures are in place and compliant with Pfizer Corporate Security guidelines.Maintains relationship with local agencies/ authorities around security related issues or concerns that may impact Pfizer.Participates as SSO (Site Security Officer) in collaboration with Global Security and other network initiatives. Manages interface with Site Security/ Facilities teams and appointed external security contractor, ensuring adherence to Pfizer SOPs and training requirements.Performs the function of Information Security Officer (ISO) and is responsible for maintaining the Information Procedure Plan (IPP-IPRM) following the Information Protection Guidelines (IPG) for all business units on the site.Accountable for site crisis management process, BCAP documentation, site tests/ simulations and remediation of relevant findings/ CAPA plans as required.

  Site Operations:

Responsible for vendor lifecycle management, vendor performance supported by Site Specialist, contract review and selection  Accountable to execute and facilitate Site Lead forum on quarterly basis, incorporating functional representation from all functions represented on siteRegular review and assessment of Record Keeping/ archival management according to Corporate Standards. Management of interface with Site landlord, review of service and review of space management and future requirements according to site functional requirementsRepresentation of Pfizer in site BCAP plans and site emergency/ evacuation procedures and drills.Perform role of site First Aider as required and participate as part of Site First Aider community ensuring coverage.Complete all required training and maintain according to specified role curricula.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s DegreeMaster’s degree in engineering or equivalent through experience.EHS, Security, Vendor Management relevant experienceKnowledge of hard services (electrical, mechanical, PPM, Statutory).Certification of Prevention Advisor level I or II (Or commitment to obtain this).Collaboration with key internal – external stakeholders.Knowledge and experience of Windows, Microsoft Office and Facility management programs.Verbal and written skills in English, Dutch and French.Leadership skillStakeholder ManagementTeam workFocus on compliance and quality.Organization and negotiation skills.
