Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The Manager Retail Activation , Africa Export implements best in class brand and commercial retail campaign activations & marketing initiatives across our Africa Export business, paying special attention to the retail executions, visual merchandising planning and execution, calendar, and digital content management, delivering a seamless consumer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages the briefing of agencies and leads the development, production, and installation of all campaigns in line with the local end to end process Manages the creation and delivery of campaign go-to-market presentations, summarizing the campaign objectives (RID, allocations, products, visual merchandising planning, physical and digital marketing tools) to be shared proactively with all key internal and external stakeholders Ensures qualitative execution together with visual merchandising team and organizes an installation debrief Leads VM Planning with the creation of Seasonal Planning, In-Season and Campaign VMD’s (Visual Merchandising Directives) Leads the delivery of a full 360 post campaign report, integrating business KPI’s and a Keep Start Stop analysis to ensure evolution Continuously inputs / challenges the campaigns, process, status quo to elevate consumer experience Develop and manage and execute instore consumer activations calendar across Africa Export countries Leads in the activation of all store openings, refits, and upgrades Paying special attention to localization where needed Lead in the briefing of agency in the execution of brand campaigns and generic digital content Ensure staff are educated/informed about campaigns/marketing initiatives landing in store Regularly visit the stores to take insights from what the consumers see and experience, and formalize action plans accordingly Manage the retail Marketing Working Budget (MWB) and reporting Is responsible for ad hoc projects within his/her channel or acts as a representative for the whole department

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Clear understanding and experience in retail activation/trade marketing/visual merchandising and the path to purchase A passion for Sports and adidas brand Project management skills Ability to manage priorities in a pressure timing environment Rigor and ability to look at all the details that make the difference Marketing budget management Drive to constantly pursue improvement Strong negotiation skills, strong networking skills Very good communication and presentation skills Strong in building productive relationships Sense of initiative and problem solving Fluent in English Advanced user of MS Office suite of products, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in marketing and sales and equivalent professional experience Minimum +5 years of retail and/or retail marketing experience In-store retail experience is a plus
