Manager - Remarketing Compliance
Position Summary: The purpose of the Manager-Remarketing Compliance role is to manage and organize vehicle sales compliance workflows for dealership services and funds processing, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and company requirements. The Manager ensures employees understand their responsibilities, including delegated tasks and initiatives, sets performance goals and deadlines and holds teams accountable for compliant and timely execution. The role monitors employee productivity and provides ongoing constructive feedback and coaching to reinforce expectations, address performance gaps, and support continuous improvement.
The role manages compliance risk by assessing issues, approving approaches within defined authority, and addressing exceptions to support audit readiness and control effectiveness. The Manager oversees compliance governance, procedural standards, and corrective actions to ensure sustainable, business-aligned processes.
In addition, the Manager actively advances and executes process improvements across the vehicle sales lifecycle, balancing regulatory and legal requirements with customer experience and operational efficiency. By driving practical, compliant enhancements within sales and post-sale workflows, the role helps improve customer outcomes while maintaining a strong compliance posture through cross-functional alignment across Accounting, Treasury, Licensing Compliance, Fleet Services, Marketing, IT, and Sales.
Major Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day adherence to legal, dealership compliance, and company policies across dealer and vehicle sales operations.  • Assess regulatory impact, manage compliance risks within assigned authority, and escalate high-risk issues or exceptions as appropriate.  • Ensure audit findings and compliance issues are addressed through corrective actions and tracked to completion. • Oversee payment processes to ensure payments meet legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements. • Manage execution against established performance goals and deadlines.  • Develop and monitor KPIs that measure compliance effectiveness, accuracy, and process stability, using results to identify risk trends and drive corrective action.  • Communicating performance results to reinforce accountability and inform decisions. • Manage compliance process analysis and root-cause evaluation, focusing on systemic issues and control gaps.  • Define improvement priorities and ensure procedural changes align with compliance standards and operational needs. Maintain sustainable and scalable processes. • Leads and manages projects to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency • Supports legal department to ensure adherence to Penske and legal requirements • Manage hiring activities and onboarding to ensure employees understand regulatory expectations, risk sensitivity, and compliance standards. Ensure training supports role readiness and accurate execution. • Manage ongoing coaching and development of compliance staff, emphasizing judgment, accountability, and professional growth.  • Reinforce expectations related to decision-making, escalation, and adherence to procedures. Promote a culture of ownership, accuracy, and continuous improvement. • Other projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree required in Business Management. • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience required • Minimum 2 years of process compliance required. • Intermediate experience in Data analysis and project management • Introductory experience in Accounting, AP, and Finance • Active listener, public speaker and has great emotional intelligence. • Open flexible and quality control and decision-making skills.  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
