What will I be doing?

Plan, direct, and ensure the successful management of projects and programs applying Hilton Enterprise Quality Engineer Methodology, delivery partners, and assigned project management teams. Conduct planning assessment of project scope, delivery capacity, desired implementation dates, and derive the optimum release plan for Portfolios. Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing methods and procedures that meet good business practice. Address complex problems by devising and implementing innovative technical solutions, drawing on in-depth hands-on expertise as a Quality Engineer. Collaborate with the key partners, product managers, and demand managers across the portfolio to accomplish quality assurance objectives. Develop project, program, and quality assurance support policies, standards, and procedures. Build relationships with key partners in distribution, customer marketing, global online services, and information technology. Collaborate with the user community and delivery teams and ensure that user acceptance is completed successfully prior to implementation. Develop implementation plans and secure resources for implementation, working with appropriate technology partners. Conduct post-implementation evaluations. Supervise seven (7) direct reports. Job requires up to 20% of domestic travel.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related field and three (3) years of experience in Quality engineering, quality assurance, or related occupation.

Requires experience with Software Testing Life Cycles (STLC) with a primary focus on automation; writing database SQL queries; using database tools such as MySQL and Couchbase; operating systems such as Linux and Windows; developing and maintaining scripts for BDD/TDD; working with Agile methodology; using test management tools such as JIRA, and Quality Center; versioning tools such as Subversion and Git; creating automation frameworks; implementing continuous integration with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo; designing and developing test automation frameworks; automating test cases using commercial and open-source automation tools; leading and running automated test teams; using API testing tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI, Rest Assured, and SOAP UI; working with unit testing frameworks such as TestNG and JUnit; programming in languages such as C, C++, Java/J2EE, Groovy, and shell scripting; and testing electronic and mobile devices, sensor devices, hardware tools and controllers.

SALARY:  $115,000 to $130,000 per year.
