Manager Projects CSEE
The Manager Projects plays a strategic leadership role, managing the Central & Southeast Europe Project Managers team, responsible for executing automation and process control projects for customers across various industries. Main countries covered: Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engineered solutions with process automation systems and process control technologies, within contracted scope, while meeting or exceeding financial, quality, and customer satisfaction key process indicators. In addition, you will be responsible for developing the Project Managers team in line with the company strategy and business growth in the area, while protecting the installed base and increasing the market share. We look forward to seeing your application! **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Setting project execution strategy across multiple projects or programs, aligning with company strategy, business unit goals, and customer expectations + Ensuring all projects follow industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Emerson's internal processes (e.g., PMO frameworks and/or ISO standards) + Assuring coordination with cross-functional teams, including engineering, service, supply chain, planning, project and contract admins, from various locations + Overseeing the project portfolio and monitoring key process indicators such as project schedule, revenue, cost control, quality, and customer satisfaction + Solving complex business problems related to project delivery and customer expectations + Ensuring adherence to company and customer HSEQ standards + Contributing to sales proposals and closing orders for complex solutions + Managing, mentoring, motivating, and developing the project management team + Supporting the team in customer negotiations and in preparing change orders + Identifying team skills needs and fostering a positive, interactive team environment + Encouraging an innovative culture within the team **Who You Are:** You are a diligent, results-focused, ambitious, motivated person, capable of excelling in a dynamic, multitasking and cross-country environment. You are passionate about control systems and process automation across industries such as, but not limited to, oil & gas, refining, chemicals, power, life sciences. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + 10+ years of solid experience with control systems (e.g., DeltaV, Ovation), industrial software, instrumentation, process automation, and application engineering capacity, with relevant/related greenfield and modernization projects + Experience in management and leadership teams, people management + Proven a positive track record in managing multiple and complex customer projects simultaneously + Local language skills with proficient English (verbal and written); excellent communicator **Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:** + Advanced Degree or equivalent experience: A master's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred + PMP certification or equivalent, and further education in business administration, operations, or project management preferred + Extensive experience with direct customer contact and leadership experience preferred **Our Culture & Commitment to You** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
