Manager Product and Business Analysis

The Manager of Product Management and Business Analysis is responsible for driving the strategic direction and successful execution of product development and business analysis initiatives. This role bridges the gap between business needs, requirements, and technical capabilities, ensuring products are aligned with business objectives and deliver exceptional value.

This is an onsite role located in Springfield, MO.

Essential Job Functions

Define and manage the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with overall business goals.Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends.Prioritize features and initiatives based on business needs, technology, and business impact.Take responsibility for all aspects of a product or set of products, including long- and short-term development and marketing. Stay abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure the product's competitive position.Evaluate the feasibility/relevance of proposed solutions, working in cross-functional or agile teams to develop and deliver significant aspects of the development program.Own and evolve the product line strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with business outcomes and meet customer needs through a robust Product Engineering operating modelDeliver baseline assessments and post-implementation analyses to evaluate and track the realization of business benefits.Lead the business analysis function, ensuring clear and concise documentation of business requirements.Interpret the business need and identify solution recommendations to business problems at a business domain level. Lead the improvement efforts that are within the span of control at this level.Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable specifications.Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.Create user stories, use cases, and process flows.Manage and mentor a team of product managers and business analysts, fostering a high-performance culture.Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and updates.Develop stakeholder engagement by identifying stakeholders; by finding out their needs, issues, and concerns; and by reacting to these needs, issues, and concerns to support the communication of business information and decisions.Collaborate with engineering, business partners, and vendors to ensure alignment and successful product launches and ongoing product stability, use, and function.Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels.Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership.Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and business impact.Analyze data and generate reports to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and optimize performance.Manage product updates and enhancements based on market feedback and data analysis.Lead the transition from legacy platforms, products to modern, data-driven solutions that support advanced analytics, automation, and AI-driven optimization.Oversee the full lifecycle of system products, from ideation and design through development, launch, adoption and continuous iteration.Ensure seamless integration of these platforms, products with other core functions and technologies

Skills/Education/Experience

Required:

Strong understanding of product management principles and methodologies.Experience developing and managing product roadmaps.Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis.Proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools.Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to analyze data and generate insights.Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to non-technical people.Familiarity with Agile methodologies.Experience in managing expectations and resolving conflicts.Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related fieldOver 10 to 15 years of experience interpreting strategy and policy to set and deliver objectives within medium to long time frames5 years of experience as a Manager of Product Owners, Product Analysts or similar roles mentoring and coaching the team as player-coach5 years of experience in a data product management roleExperience leading cross-functional teams (engineering, design, analytics) in an Agile or Scrum setting.Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value, ROI, and user stories.Experience in roadmaps, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder management.
