Manager Plant Quality

Reporting to the FSQRA Director for our Kent, WA manufacturing facility, you will ensure food safety and quality of all products produced in the plant. You will ensure specifications are defined and communicated while performing inspections of processes, employee training, compliance with applicable food laws and regulations and maintaining plant HACCP plans to regulatory compliance. You will provide support on customer issues and questions.

How Will You Affect Our Business?Ensure all plant personnel follow good manufacturing practices (GMP) including proper waste disposal, personal hygiene and personal practices.Develop and present a complete orientation process which provides training in the Main Concepts of Food Safety and Quality. Maintain compliance to annual training requirements.Work with plant staff to lead Food Safety and Quality ownership to the floorMentor your team in the performance of their responsibilitiesManage Plant timelines and critical milestones for the Food safety and Quality Improvement Plan and other food safety/quality metrics (ie. Complaint reduction, quality incident reduction, and quality index scores)Interpret and communicate quality and food safety issues, both internal and external (consumer complaints), and initiates applicable corrective measuresEnsure compliance to all applicable regulatory agency requirements (USDA, FDA, CFIA) and liaison with local food regulatory officers.Provide leadership for compliance to food safety and quality programs Implements and maintain quality programs. i.e., HACCP, SQF certification, recall program, environmental monitoring program, and comprehensive pest control program.Provide Corporate with quality assurance assistance involving vendor issues, both improvements and corrective measuresOversee product quality with regards new product implementation and introduction into market. Ensure use of applicable MOPD and CQV tools.FSQRA pillar owner for Conagra Performance System.

Do You Have What It Takes?Bachelor's degree in Biology, Food Science, or other related program3+ years of related QA management experience in a food manufacturing facilitySkills in monitoring and measurement of process control, auditing, manufacturing of food products, sanitation process, knowledge of HACCP, SSOP regulations, skills in team leadership, and root cause analysis

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
