What You Will Do:

Lead and support the Dawn Plant Operations team by working with people leaders to ensure the right balance of front line, technical, and leadership capability.

Cultivate strong communication and relationships with employees and union leadership. Support labor negotiations and administer collective agreements.

Support emergency response, incident management preparedness and business continuity plans.

Participate on committees and forums; share leading practices, introduce innovative ideas and influence emerging regulations.

Develop budgets and forecasts, enhance strategic contractor and supplier relationships to minimize duplication and waste.

Provide strategic and facilities optimization recommendations to support the Asset Management strategies for current and future operations.

Secure resources and remove barriers to enable direct reports to function timely and effectively.

Support and commit to Enbridge values and ways of working.

Who You Are:

Related university degree in Engineering and/or Business education and eight‐plus years’ experience OR ten‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.

Previous operations experience, engineering experience or a combination of both.

Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and organization skills.

Strong strategic problem solver who can be very agile and creative.

Ability to work effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders (i.e. Gas Control, Distribution Operations, Labour Union Leadership).

Ability to support on-call emergency coverage.

Working Conditions:

This role is comprised of both office (70%) and field work (30%). Valid class G drivers’ license and maintenance of a responsible driving record required.

This role supports a 24/7/365 Operation which encompasses plant operations at both Dawn and Tecumseh sites with accountability for staff on site 24/7/365.
