Responsibilities Monitor charge capture, coding accuracy, claim scrubbingAnalyze denial trends, manage accounts receivable, and implement strategies to reduce denials and improve collections.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like coding error rates, billing turnaround times, and A/R days; report to management.Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and vendors.Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions for better revenue capture. RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.Additional Preferences Strong foundation of billing and knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT).Certified Coder - PreferredStrong Knowledge of CMS guidelines and regulationsKnowledge of CCI editsExperience with EHR/Billing Software & Microsoft Office.Analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid.#InternalOps
