JOB SUMMARY:
Position will provide regional oversight for the spare parts demand planning, inventory management, Over the Counter sales, and miscellaneous procurement for designated service centers in assigned region. This role manages aviation parts inventory and supervise employees responsible for implementing sound inventory management principles to facilitate operational objectives. Establish and maintain an efficient utilization of manpower and space for logistics activities including: inventory accountability, order fulfillment, material inspection, inbound receipts, and outbound shipments while maintaining a high level of customer support for both internal and external customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. Supervise and provide management oversight to personnel responsible for daily operational requirements such as: asset procurement, receipt processing, issuing requirements, and outbound shipment priorities.
II. Responsible for development of regional stocking philosophy and maintaining adequate levels of inventory to meet Service Center maintenance volume.
III. Supervise and provide management oversight to personnel responsible for daily operational requirements such as: asset procurement, receipt processing, issuing requirements, and outbound shipment priorities.
IV. Provides regional oversight of all claims processing activities and procedures.
V. Assists in the development of standardized procedures for procurement and control of shop supplies.
VI. Provides regional support in the management of and interaction with aftermarket supply chain.
VII. Conduct management oversight of inbound and outbound shipping activities to include: Certificates of Airworthiness, insurance, routing, and other forms of asset movement to provide prompt receipt and shipping of assets.
VIII. Establish positive working relationships and effective communication with the service center team, supply chain managers and financial representatives to ensure a high level of productivity and customer service.
IX. Perform necessary requirements to resolve inventory accountability discrepancies, accounting issues and transportation delays.
X. Maintain clean and safe working conditions to comply with regulatory guidance of Occupational Health and Safety and Fleet Management Inspectors.
XI. Responsible for department employee orientation, training and general understanding of company policies and objectives.
XII. Oversee Hazardous Material shipping requirements including employee education and shipment monitoring to assure regulatory guidelines are followed.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, in lieu of a degree a minimum of 5 years procurement, inventory management, or logistics is required
• 2 years of supervisory experience in facilities management, warehouse operations, or related field is preferred
QUALIFICATONS:
• Warehouse inventory management knowledge preferred.
• Experience with inventory database management preferred.
• Regulatory knowledge of hazardous materials, export, OHS and FAA strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced environment and meet required deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork through strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A sound understanding of Microsoft Office.
