Manager of Treasury Settlement Services

This role is expected to be in the office 4 days a week. As **Manager of Treasury Settlement Services** (TSS), you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our trade lifecycle—from post-execution through settlement. You’ll collaborate with talented colleagues, drive innovation, and help us succeed together as One Schwab. **What You’ll Do:** + Lead and engage in the core functions of trade verification, settlement, collateral management, and exception processing, helping to mitigate operational and administrative risks. + Maintain and enhance data accuracy, leveraging automation and technology to improve Treasury Settlement Services. + Champion internal controls that safeguard corporate assets and uphold Schwab’s reputation for integrity and service excellence. + Collaborate across teams and with external partners to ensure timely and accurate settlement of large cash and securities transactions. + Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of trading and collateral management systems, contributing to Schwab’s commitment to innovation and client-centric solutions. + Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and technology, driving positive change for our clients and our team. **What you have** To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have: **Required Qualifications:** + **Education & Experience:** Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics; 5+ years in settlement operations (including derivatives) within broker/dealer or banking environments. + **Technical Expertise** : Strong knowledge of custody/clearing best practices, collateral management (eligibility, margin, substitution), and asset-backed securities processing. Familiarity with derivatives (e.g., interest rate swaps) and related collateral requirements. + **Systems & Tools:** Experience with trade order systems, Bloomberg, SWIFT, custodian platforms; willingness to learn Treasury ManagementSystems, Nasdaq Calypso, Tableau, Alteryx. + **Skills:** Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities; keen attention to detail; ability to multi-task under pressure while collaborating effectively. + **Preferred:** Professional Treasury qualification (or in progress), corporate treasury/compliance experience, and proven success leading middle-office projects. + **Mindset:** Innovative, change-driven, and committed to process improvement.
