As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorganChase within the Consumer and Community Banking  you lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team’s work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experienceHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

Strong concepts and hands-on coding skills in Java, Spring Boot, and React, with high proficiency in design patterns and detailed design knowledge to ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet complex business requirements.

Extensive full stack development expertise, capable of seamlessly integrating front-end and back-end technologies to deliver comprehensive solutions. This includes proficiency in modern frameworks, libraries, and tools that enhance user experience and system performance.

Strong knowledge of AWS or any other cloud platform, ensuring efficient cloud resource management.

Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stabilityProficient in coding with one or more languages, including JavaAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityDemonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
