We want you to apply now! **What you will do in this role:** + As the Infection Control Manager (ICM), you will develop and oversee the hospital's infection control program. + You will survey activities, investigate any potential outbreaks, hospital and medical staff education, as well as ongoing data analysis and trending. + You will collaborate with the Chairperson of the Infection Control Committee to establish the agenda, provide data/data analysis and Infection Control updates as well as maintain minutes of committee activity. + You will play a role in eliminating health and safety risk factors in a systematic and cost effective manner. + You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to infection control including the TJC standards, OSHA, Conditions of Participation, etc. + You will manage department staff to perform program functions. **What qualification you will need:** + Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare related field is required; Master's Degree preferred + Preferred Board Certification in Infection Control or degree in Public Health + 1+ years Infection Control experience required + 2+ years Management experience required + 2+ years experience in clinical setting required + Certification in Infection Control required or within 12 months of hire. + Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Office HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital is dedicated to improving health outcomes and enhancing the well-being of our community.
