The Platform Manager of FPA - Repair plays a pivotal role in the financial management of the repair network, with the primary focus on repair analysis, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and managing special projects.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monthly Activities:
Consolidate, review, and analyze business unit financials and related schedules to identify trends, issues, and opportunities, as well as monthly forecasts.Distribute final consolidated financial statements and forecasts to the management team.Create monthly commentary and dashboard schedules for month-end close and forecasts.Distribute and ensure adherence to reporting deadlines and work closely with Marmon’s Corporate FPA team to resolve any outstanding questions or items.Quarterly Activities:
Prepare quarterly analyticsBe a key partner in preparing presentations for Quarterly Business Reviews with Marmon ManagementAnnual Activities:
Be a key participant in the Annual Budget process including timeline, reviews and analysis.Play a key role in preparing presentations for the Annual Budget process with Marmon ManagementOngoing Activities Conducted All Year:
Partner with management in development and enhancement of financial reporting and analysis.Review / analysis of capital expendituresPerform post audits of significant capital projects.Play a key role in the planning of financial meetings.Assist in evaluation and due diligence of potential acquisitions.Respond to various special analysis requests from management and Marmon.Position requires some travel (10%).
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
7+ years of experience in a progression of accounting/financial analysis positionsStrong interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset a mustCPA / MBA/ Public Accounting preferredA successful candidate must demonstrate:
